Trone Mwanzu Kisimonwe

Born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo he is an author, the CEO and founder of ISDPSSA. Inspiration of writing, and working toward sustainable development, peace and security studies of Africa “Great Lakes Region” have been his premier thoughts and focus.  He has published several articles and authored a number of books on peace and conflict in the Great Lakes Region. in 2016 he published in Windhoek Namibia his first book “African Ancestor M’mbondo” for the interest of African history, customary law, land issue, and manner of living in South Kivu of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. His second book titled: “The D.R. Congo South Kivu Ethnic Conflict and the Vulnerability of the Babembe” is an insight on ethnic conflict in the Great Lakes Region, South Kivu. He has published several academic papers on history of the D.R. Congo, peace, security, and ethnic conflicts.

He is pursuing a second degree in International Development and Political Science at Dalhousie University in Halifax Canada and has a degree in education. Determined for sustainable development in the D.R. Congo with a focused vision, Mr.Mwanzu has worked with several Institutions including the chairmanship of cultural entity and community organization.
